    North Fork Fire Protection District

    North Fork Volunteer Fire Department covers an area of 306 square miles that includes residential areas, a handful of commercial establishments, ranches and thousands of acres of public lands including a large portion of the Pike National Forest. Two Jefferson County Open Space Parks are also within District boundaries.

    The Fire Department is named after the North Fork of the South Platte River which runs through the District from Pine Valley Park in the Northwest to the confluence with the South Fork in the town of South Platte to the East.
